Salary £23,398 - £25,951

We are looking to appoint an outstanding practitioner with knowledge and experience of administering examinations and the ability to use data management information systems (SIMS or other IMS systems) to support the effective running of student assessment and examination processes across all areas of the school.  Knowledge and experience of relevant performance measures would be an advantage.

The post holder will be responsible for the quality of our data through the Service Management Information System and you will be required to have excellent attention to detail, organisational, reporting and analysis skills.

The Data and Assessment Officer will liaise with the SLT and teaching team regarding exam entries, will organise exams invigilators and manage the daily running of the exams and must be comfortable in leading, guiding and directing staff and learners in respect of the exams provision.

You would be joining the school at a very exciting time and will be able to make a significant contribution to the future direction and development of this unique learning environment. The school was recently judged ‘Outstanding’ following our OFSTED inspection in June 2017.  We have established first class partnerships locally, nationally and internationally as we continually seek to develop both ourselves and others.  We are ambitious and are seeking colleagues who are wanting to be part of our outstanding, innovative, outward looking school.

This is a fantastic opportunity for any individuals seeking a fresh challenge and new opportunity within a highly rewarding environment.  You will have access to superb continuing professional development as part of the appraisal process. If you are an enthusiastic, professional and a pro-active individual then we would love to hear from you.

The Children’s Hospital School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to satisfactory references, medical clearance and enhanced checks carried out by the Disclosure and Barring Service

If you would like to visit the school before applying then you would be most welcome and I would ask you to contact Lynn White, Senior Admin Officer, to arrange this. All applications should be sent to Lynn White by clicking apply

The closing date for applications is 9:00am on Friday 22nd September 2017 with interviews scheduled to be held the following week. (Late applications will not be considered).

Please be aware that CV’s will not be considered without a supporting application form.
