Part Time HR Administrator

GBP12k to GBP13k

Prepare and issue standard correspondence to employees to include offer letters, contracts of employment, changes of circumstances and general employee communication

Ensure new starters are issued with joining instructions and all onboarding paperwork is complete and filed

Advise on right to work documents

Set up IT provisions for new starters and for Wolverhampton site manage issuing of fobs to provide access into / around the building

Support the HR Assistant with preparing payroll packs for new starters / payroll details for current employees

Maintain and update starter/leaver/maternity/paternity trackers

Maintain and update on a monthly basis personnel files foremployees at all sites

Assist with benefit and reward activities including liaison with benefit providers on starters and leavers and administration support of our employee discount scheme

Maintain the company staff database and ensure employee records are kept up to date and items filed appropriately

Support correspondence requirements during TUPE transfers and acquisitions

Type up notes from HR related meetings

Provide reference and mortgage confirmations as required within seven to ten days of receipt

Provide advice and guidance on company policy related matters such as absence, maternity & paternity, rest breaks (training can be provided)

Provide advice and guidance on internal system used for processing items such as holiday's, absence, sickness absence, recruitment requests

Open and distribute post within the HR team. Responsible for post being sent out on a daily basis

Deal with telephone enquiries ensuring they are followed up and that accurate messages are passed on to the relevant members of the team

Ensure accurate and up to date filing systems are in place and maintained

Comply with the Data Protection Act

Scan and file documents to personnel files

Typing as needed for the Head of HR

Ensure stationary in place for the HR team

Raise purchase orders and process invoices for HR activity

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be looking for an opportunity to secure a stable position within a successful industry and business. You will possess the experience of working within an administrative focused role and be flexible to adapt to the needs of a team in a growing business.

This role is based at our site in Wolverhampton. It is a part time position of up to 25 hours per week (working hours and days to be discussed / agreed with applicants)

Key Skills and Attributes:
Highly organised and great attention to detail

Strong Microsoft Office skills and IT literate

Likes to put in place and maintain effective systems and routines to ensure important / regular tasks are not forgotten

Confident with the ability to communicate at all levels

Deliver a high level of positive customer care to internal / external customers

A desire to thrive in a role that requires a positive, proactive and flexible attitude

Experienced Administrator used to working in a team environment

Basic HR / recruitment knowledge desirable
