My client secondary school, based in Solihull is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, passionate Maths Graduate who is keen to develop their teaching career. You will be working as a Teaching Assistant, within the Maths Department across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5.

My client is a large, mixed comprehensive school attracting student s from a large number of primary schools, in or around the solihull area. Sixth form provision is made in collaboration with four other secondary schools. The school is easy to find and to travel to by public transport, but will also offer a secure car parking space on site.

Your Teaching Assistant post will be due to start immediately, although the school has stated that they will wait on the perfect candidate. The position is full time, 5 days a week, until the end of the academic year, in July 2018. As a Teaching Assistant, you will purely be working within the Maths Department across the Key Stages, working on a 1:1 basis and with small groups of pupils, assisting them with their work.

My client is judged to be a 'Good' School by Ofsted, when they were last inspected in 2014. Under the strong leadership of the very able senior leaders the school has developed some systematic and rigorous approaches to its work. Leadership and management were also deemed as 'Good'. The school is well led at all levels and supported by a by group of knowledgeable governors who bring a wealth of expertise to the school.
