Panel Wireman / Test Engineer
Location: Leicester
Salary: £10 - £12 per hour (time and a half Saturdays, double time Sundays)

As an expanding business we are looking for an experienced panel wireman, with testing experience, to join our team of technicians in a Shop floor environment, and in the field.

The job will involve the manufacture and testing of panels, from start to finish. Working with a designer to lay out control panels, wiring, inspection and testing, ready for dispatch.

Site work will be required including control panel upgrades, installation and fault finding.

This will include weekend working due to shutdown availability of plant, as well as regular overtime.

Previous experience is essential for the successful candidate, whilst an electrical qualification would be advantageous.

Requirements
* Must have the ability to manufacture to a high standard
* High attention to detail and ability to inspect own work
* Must be able to read drawings and electrical schematics
* Must have a methodical approach to tasks
* Panel Wireman/Test Engineer experience

An advanced understanding of electrical wiring diagrams is essential, with the ability to reverse engineer circuits without drawings.

The types of projects undertaken are mainly in the construction/quarrying industry, including crushing, screening and asphalt plants.
