When our customers call for a little help or advice, you will be the friendly voice of BT, answering questions about our customers' orders, or enquiries about BT's products and services. Working within our Business division, you will also be right at the heart of the UK economy where BT provides cutting edge communications and IT services to around 900,000 business customers across the UK and Republic of Ireland.

Right now we're looking for Customer Service Advisors to join our vibrant office in Nottingham and help us wow our customers with a world class customer service. Our advisors are some of the best in the business because they are curious, great problem solvers and love a challenge. How about you?

What you'll do

Working as part of a fantastic team, you'll be our customers' first line of contact providing a human touch with a passion to meet our customers need and a willingness to listen and take ownership of a customer's problem until its resolved. You'll also look for every opportunity to make sure that our customers have the best products and services for their business and how we can help them grow.

What you'll need to be successful
  • A professional, can do attitude with a natural desire to learn new skills
  • Great customer service and resolution skills
  • Excellent keyboard and PC skills, including navigation of system applications with data input
  • Excellent communications skills, driven by customers' needs and product belief - be a great team player to ensure you and your colleagues achieve team targets
  • Although not essential, preferably you will have at least 6 months experience in a customer contact centre environment ....but for us, it's more important that you have a passion for delivering excellent customer services, learning new technologies.

Don't worry, we'll pay you whilst we train you to be brilliant, paying particular attention to having great conversations with our customers in an environment that's supportive and friendly.

Excellent working hours that align with the businesses we support, typically Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm.

Whats next?



If you are shortlisted, you will be invited to complete an initial online test designed to provide some key insights into your customer service capability and potential. If you successfully pass this part of the assessment, we will ask you to complete a short video interview. The final step is to attend a face to face interview which will include a competency based interview and a short role play.
