An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Welfare Projects Lead to join our team based in Nottingham. You will be on a full time fixed term contract to 22nd June 2018 and will be offered a competitive salary of £22,414 - £26,000 per annum dependent on experience.
About the Welfare Projects Lead role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Welfare Projects Lead to join us on a fixed term contract until 22nd June 2018. This role will be essential in helping the Students’ Union develop the right strategy to support the welfare of students over the next five years.
The scope of the role is varied. Alongside turning insight into clear outcomes to inform our strategy, you will be supporting Students’ Union staff to work collaboratively to deliver welfare initiatives and deliver day to day support for the student led Welfare Network to help them grow and develop. Working alongside the elected Welfare Officer, you will also develop our welfare and wellbeing resources, both print and digital, to make sure that they are meeting the needs of students.
We are particularly interested in your previous experience of working to meet the welfare needs of students or young people, and leading on creating clear actionable strategies. You will be able to use research to inform future strategy and have the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
