You will work as an administrator on a variety of tasks, some require good attention to detail.  You must be able to communicate with young people via telephone, face-to-face, email and social media.  You must be flexible and able to work as part of a team whilst using your own initiative.

Working for the Sustainable Travel Collective, a Nottingham based charity, you will be helping young unemployed people to better access work and learning opportunities whilst promoting more sustainable travel options like cycling and using public transport.

This post is ideally suited to candidates with a strong background in administration, experience of record keeping and engaging with young people.  We require a candidate who is highly organised and methodical.  Experience of project support work is desirable as is an interest in cycling activities and public transport.

The post is for 37.5 hours per week until March 31st 2018 at £10.10 per hour, mainly based at Nottingham City Council’s Bulwell Riverside offices.

You must be prepared to travel by walking, bike or public transport around the city.  The job could entail some work with vulnerable adults and the successful candidate will need to be DBS checked before final appointment.
