What You'll Be Doing:

As the Commercial Manager, you'll act as a key advisor to the Operating Board and Senior Management Team on contractual and financial matters that relate to commercial agreements.

You will work with teams across the UK regarding new and existing contracts, supporting rapidly growing operations, new commercial opportunities and maintaining an awareness of market movements and trends.

Specifically, your role will involve:

- Taking the lead on contractual matters for new and existing customers
- Identifying risk and the control measures for each contract
- Advising on cost savings and strategic procurement options
- Supporting the acquisition of new customers
- Implementing controls to manage risk for growth
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders

About You:

To be considered as the Commercial Manager, you will need:

- To be a RICS qualified Quantity Surveyor
- Contractual knowledge
- Excellent knowledge of procurement, pricing, budgeting and the associated impact of true profit and cashflow on P&L and balance sheets
- Experience in risk management
- Experience of managing a team to maximise their contributions and effectiveness, influencing personal commitments
- A full, valid driving licence

Our client is looking for candidates with experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Contracts Manager, Engineering Manager, Operations Manager, Engineering Operations Manager, or Construction Operations Manager.

They are also eager to hear from those who have held the title of Senior Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Account Manager, Commercial Performance Manager, or Commercial & Contract Manager.
