To be successful in your application you must be an enthusiastic graduate who has a second-class degree at the very least and practice working with SEN children. You will be able to show compassion to all pupils and easily develop relationships with pupils and teachers. You will provide the ability to convey information clearly and a natural ability to consider pupils with SEN. You should have great communication skills with parents/ carers and a pledge to the progression of pupils with SEN.

This Graduate Teaching Assistant position involves supporting learning in a general capacity, across the school through the Inclusion Unit. You will be making sure the individual needs of SEN pupils are being met by liaising with class teachers and the SENCo. In addition to your classroom duties you will provide booster sessions in the form of 1:1 and small groups outside the classroom. You will be involved in a tailored CPD that will support you through your year and development.
