Supply Chain Manager
We are pleased to be working with this growing North Leicestershire based business as the look to recruit a Supply Chain Manager. This is a permanent full time position and due to some of the technical requirements within the role, the ideal candidate will come from a pharmaceutical/medical background and have a good understanding of import/export legislation. This role has complete responsibility for ensuring products come into the UK, pass all relevant quality control procedures and are then passed on (via the Sales team) to the end customers (mainly in the UK, but also Europe). In more detail: Manage and develop a small Supply Chain team Be responsible for the end to end Supply Chain process Ensure all imports happen on time, ensuring all relevant documentation and compliance is completed Liaising with the buyers to ensure the right products are ordered and that there are no over or under orders Working closely with the warehousing team making sure that all products are kept in the right environment Liaising with the Quality department and ensuring full quality sign off happens before products are released Working closely with the Sales team to make sure they know products are available for onwards sale Ensuring products are sold onto the end user whilst products still have significant shelf life Working with Sales and Export team to make sure all relevant documentation and compliance is completed This is a great opportunity to work for a growing family business who are very proud of their friendly culture.
