Senior 2nd/3rd Line Service Desk Analyst Summary: Role: Senior Technical Service Desk Analyst - A senior figure in the service desk team Location: South Leicester (commutable from Coventry and Warwickshire) Salary: £23k - £29k Hours: 40 per week (covering 8am - 6pm) Key skills: Windows, Office, Networking, Customer Service, Remote Support Must have: previous 2nd line support experience If you've got 3 years' experience in an IT Service Desk role, are able to coach and mentor other 1st / 2nd line support analysts and are highly knowledgeable when it comes to Windows, Office and general networking/connectivity, then this one could be for you. You will work as one of two Senior members of the Service Desk team, dealing with escalations and more demanding technical fixes that the 1st and lesser experienced 2nd line guys can't resolve. You will work closely with your manager to foster a positive and customer focused culture within the team, sharing best practice and leading by example when necessary, though a large amount of your time will be spent away from hands-on tech support, mentoring and guiding others and taking a lead on problem management and improving overall performance and customer satisfaction. Your technical knowledge should cover the following areas: - Experience with monitoring tools, Active Directory, Windows 7/10, Office 2010. - Networking Skills - DNS / DHCP, TCP/IP etc. - AD / Group policy knowledge. Salary is up to £29K (depending on experience), plus benefits.
