We are looking for a passionate, charismatic individual to join us as a National Account Manager for Birchwood Price Tools covering the UK . If this sounds like you so far we’d love to hear from you This role requires you to manage the relationship with a defined number of National Accounts and deliver the sales and profit budget for those accounts by collaboratively working in partnership to achieve jointly agreed strategic plans and objectives. Duties Include: Understanding of customer contacts and contact objectives at all levels of organisation. Create quality trusted relationships with all stakeholders Personal engagement, or facilitate BPT colleague engagement, to develop joint strategic customer plans to achieve contact objectives Identification and resolution of customer ‘points of pain’ / opportunities to differentiate BPT proposition, eg drop ship, ready to rent Co ordinate account engagement by ASM/ISM colleagues to provide effective prioritised branch/store network coverage Engagement with Brand/Supply/Logistics colleagues to ensure accurate customer sales forecasting into BPT and 100% complete delivery of customer promotional activity Ownership of overall account profitability. Management of pricing, price increases, rebates, cost to serve metrics etc to ensure acceptable net profitability Awareness of key competitors strengths and weaknesses. Use to engage new sales opportunities e net profitability Proactively manages personal development. Continually assesses performance and evaluates ways to improve. Seeks advice and feedback.
