Business Development Manager (Electronics)
A Sales Engineer with experience of selling Electronic / Electro-Mechanical solutions is sought by a successful Technology company Based from home and reporting to board level you will be responsible for developing and securing profitable orders and new product sales to achieve and surpass targets and KPI's. You will manage all business development and sales related activities in key markets. You will liaise with existing and new customers and prospects to develop and or improve product capability in new and existing market sectors, coordinate and manage tenders and quotations, provide accurate sales and pipeline reports and ensure the CRM system is kept up to date, attend relevant national and international trade shows to gain new sales opportunities and identify new sector or application opportunities for products. Your key focus will be to increase market share and ensure optimal performance of your accounts portfolio and develop current and future competitor and general sector intelligence. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of selling technical products to the Rail industry. A background in electromechanical or mechanical or electrical sales background covering areas such as signalling, motors and or transmission/electrical systems or similar products would be a strong advantage. A proven track record of sales revenue achievement is essential as are strong new business development and account management skills.
