My client is a global leader in advanced surveillance, security and Integration technologies and services. My client designs integrated end-to-end survelliance control systems for the world's most demanding security environments security environments. They excel at complex projects that require innovative tailored solutions with high reliability and flexibility, specifically for universities. The Role Reporting to the Bid Manager you will manage the process and compilation of allocated bids. Ensuring our strategy to win the business is clearly identified by the sales lead and subsequently messaged in our proposals. You will ensure full compliance requirements have been met and be responsible for managing the production and delivery of response documents through the use of virtual teams, working to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction throughout. You will also be responsible for managing the production of all new Service Quotations (not renewals) and ongoing client engagement to the order conversion stage. You will work closely with the Sales, Sales Operations, Design and Service team members to identify, gather and collate the necessary content into focused tender/proposal responses. Education/Experience Essential - Education to degree level or equivalent industry experience. - A minimum of 2 years' experience gained within a Bid management/Service Proposals position or similar. - An understanding of the Electronic Security Systems Market. - Excellent skills in creative writing with an attention for detail and accuracy. - Ability to construct a compelling commercially and technically viable proposition. - Strong communication skills both verbal and written to engage stake holders and teams within the process and across the business. - Experience in the construction and analysis of commercial business models. - Experience in bid and proposal preparation and specifically complex deals and prolonged tender processes. - Experience of identifying, quantifying and managing commercial risks. - Highly literate and numerate. - Able to work under pressure and demanding timescales. - Results driven - Ideally APMP qualified.
