We are currently working with a highly innovative transport systems company, they are currently looking for 10 x electrically-biased engineers or technicians to come on board for a year long project they have recently won. The project will be fitting Alarm systems to over 6000 buses across the UK and they need competent Engineers / Technician who have a strong electrical / electronics understanding, and ideally a previous experience working in the automotive industry. The role will involve: - Installing Hardware - Fitting Handbrake Alarm systems - Understanding Schematics - Wiring Looms If you are confident in at least three of these then please get in touch. The role will comprise of a 40hr week, Monday - Thursday night shifts, there will be opportunities for extra earning through overtime. Moreover, as the buses are located nationwide there will be on occasion a requirement to stay in digs for 4 days, but there will be a shift allowance of £50 provided for the duration of the contract to cover any expenses, regardless of actual expenses used. We are ideally looking for people who are based anywhere in the midlands, but happy for people nationwide to apply. This role would ideally suit Vehicle technicians with experience fitting Car Alarms or Car Radio`s or other electronics, Ex-forces who have worked on Vehicles whilst in service or anybody else who has good electrically-biased experience but with a mechanical understanding, or engineer with experience working on electrical systems in the avionic industry. Work will be guaranteed for at least 38 weeks and we are looking to pay 19 p/h Digs & fuel allowance but we are open to negotiation so pleas get in touch regardless of rates.
