Job Title Goods Receiving/Stores Co-ordinator Location Leicester Salary £17,000K up to £20,000K Depending on Experience The role as a Goods Receiving/Stores Co-ordinator in Leicester We have a fantastic opportunity to work for and progress with a world class Engineering/Manufacturing company in Leicester who, provide for quarrying, construction, road infrastructure and recycling projects globally. Our client is looking for an individual who can efficiently and effectively support the day to day operational requirements of its goods receiving and stores facility, whilst ensuring both external and internal customer satisfaction. Whilst developing both the goods inwards function and themselves, with the opportunity for personnel development and progression, as part of the ongoing development and growth of the business. As a Goods Receiving/Stores Co-ordinator You will be required to: - Ensure the correct handling, goods inwards inspection and placement of all deliveries - Be responsible for booking in deliveries/orders on to the company internal computer system - Ensure that kits are picked and issued as required to the factory and packing department - Be responsible for booking out jobs on the company internal computer system - Liaise internally with purchasing, sales, manufacturing and packing - Be responsible for raising and sending non-conformance notes to suppliers for non-compliant deliveries The Candidate In the role of Goods Receiving/Stores Co-ordinator you will need to: - Be computer literate-essential-working within word and internal computer systems - Have an understanding of logistics functions and safety checks - Be reliable, organised, accurate and have good communication skills - Be a team player able to integrate with the existing team from the offset, with the desire to make a difference whilst developing and progressing personally within the company - Have current Forklift certification - Identify and communicate risk associated with (Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality) Client Overview: Our Leicester based client, is a well-respected manufacturer producing a world class product. Package: 20 Days Annual Leave, plus 8 days statutory Salary: £17,000 to £20,000
