The Opportunity: In this role you will gather competitor and customer data through indoor sales activities in order to create awareness of local market trends and competitors activities. You will also develop and acquire and develop Small, Medium and Large customers within a specific geographic territory, through regular telephone contact. You will also perform all sales administration activities in order to maintain accurate information essential to sustain revenue and customer service and maximise the face-to-face selling time of the Field Sales Executive. To ensure the client retains Small, Medium and Large customers within a specific geographic territory you will build lasting relationships and enhance customer satisfaction through regular telephone contact. You will also form professional relationships within customer organisations through telephone contact in order to meet customer needs while ensuring all customers are contacted on a regular basis by following the call cycle. About you - Skills/Experience/Qualifications: You will interacts with customers, over the telephone, to establish market information specific to them Supports the management of the Field Sales Executives agenda You will also keep up-to-date with local market trends and relates impacts upon their customers via media such as; newspapers, internet, etc. Sharing information within the sales team to improve the ability of yourself and others to identify the most applicable service against competitor product offers You will also pass on the information gathered to the Business Intelligence department for further analysis You will also accurately update the Sales systems on a timely basis in order to ensure complete and current client information is held You will plan and prepare for sales calls to both existing and prospect customers You will also perform calls to appropriate contacts within existing and prospect customers according to the standard activity KPIs and centrally agreed sales processes Supports direct mail campaigns by following-up on each mail item with each customer over the telephone Identifies the traffic profile of a customer and acts accordingly e.g. makes an appointment for the Field Sales Executive where the customer is of a Medium or Large size Develops existing customers via up-selling and or cross selling.
