Our client, a national facilities management company are currently looking for a service engineer for their rail division. The company have been established over 150 years and are constantly striving o increase their market place within the UK. The successful candidate will undertake the preventive and reactive maintenance of Rail vehicles & associated equipment within a designated area of responsibility of the contract. Whilst at the same time accepting the nature of the unsociable hours working of the contract. Working out in all types of climatic conditions also working in a depot. You must have comprehensive engineering/maintenance background, having served a recognised apprenticeship in the relevant discipline. You will have undertaken short courses/modules in complementary disciplines and tested to be competent to undertake such activities. To a level of B.Tech Higher or similar qualifications or experience. Working hours are not set and employees must be flexible. You must be required to do 40 hours minimum and be available to work weekends. The company will pay 13.85 per hour time and half will be paid in the following circumstances.
