Reporting into the Head of Technology the IT Service Manager will lead and manage the delivery of ongoing improvement of customer focused IT services. This covers Service Desk; desktop services; network and application support, meeting business needs through management of 3rd party service providers. You will have overall responsibility for the service delivery ensuring service standards are achieved and maintained. Key accountabilities Your main responsibilities will be to lead and manage the delivery and ongoing improvement of customer focused IT services. You will develop strategic relationships with 3rd party service providers that are integral to ensuring continuous service delivery and customer satisfaction. You will be required to work actively in support of the solution delivery lifecycle, accountable for successful delivery of solutions through to launch and ensure that the technology systems in the company are maintaining business as usual. You will develop and implement a set of KPIs to measure success. You will contribute to the production of department and project budgets ensuring actual spend is within budget. You will hold regular review meetings in order to effectively communicate departmental plans and targets but also address any issues that may arise. Skills & experience The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have extensive experience of managing 3rd party providers in the delivery of IT services. Relationship management is the key to the success of this role. You will be ITIL Service Management Qualified. You will have experience in the design, delivery and management of Windows Client/Service Infrastructure, Network design and implementation, LAN/WAN products and protocols and have experience of Microsoft systems software. Experience of Cloud and Saas technologies would be required.
