delivering care for looked after young people. This is an exciting time for us and we are now looking to appoint a qualified registered manager for the opening of our first home. Applicants will need to have 3years plus experience as a registered manager with a proven track record of delivering improvement inthe sector. You will be responsible for the effective running of a 3 bed children's home. Strong leadership and management skills will be required to effectively lead the team. Registered Manager responsibilities include: The daily running of the home Staff management Budgets Ensuring that a high standard of care is maintained at all times Compliance with all current legislation relating The successful candidate must have: 3 Years management experience within young people’s services An established record of consistently achieving Good/Outstanding ratings from Ofsted Excellent working knowledge of children’s homes national minimum standards and the Children’s Act 2009. This role is subject to an advanced DBS check. A level 5 Diploma in leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is preferable.
