What are we looking for? 

You will need to demonstrate you are an influential leader with a passion and expertise in developing skills and further education landscape and extensive knowledge and experience of working in a Business to Business Training & Development role in a commercially focused approach. In addition, an up to date knowledge of the apprenticeship reforms, ESFA funding methodology Ofsted Common Inspection Framework. Excellent verbal and written communication and coaching skills is essential to fulfil the requirements of this role.

Job Specification Requirements
The successful candidate will:

  • Possess a degree or relevant vocational qualification at Level 5 or above
  • Excellent computer literacy and presentation skills; e.g. proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
  • Excellent people management and leaderships skills.
  • Extensive experience in a senior business development role within in the further education/ work based training sector
  • Evidence effective methods of achieving challenging targets and KPIs
