About the role

We have an exciting job opportunity for you to join our team of Registered Care Managers in Birmingham, West Midlands. Within this role you'll work 37.5 hours per week (full time) on a permanent basis based inEdgbaston.

We are looking for a positive, proactive and confident Registered Care Manager who can lead and inspire their team of Support Workers and Deputy Managers. You will manage and develop services and support us to achieve our ambitious strategy "Growing Stronger Together" .

As our Registered Care Manager you will provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments and/or learning disabilities. You will effectively manage a team to deliver person centred, specialist services that meet organisational standards and expectations.

About You

You must be willing to work towards a Level Five Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or be working towards an accredited award. You will need to have had proven experience of supervising and line managing staff in accordance with policy and legislation, as well as experience of managing misconduct, grievance and performance issues.

You will have a sound knowledge of person centred planning, rota planning, staff management/development and budget management. In order to support Sense's commitment to high quality, accountable services, you will be aware of the expectations of the Health and Social Care Act 2015 and develop an understanding of Senses' Quality Assurance system. You will be required, to be registered with the Care Quality Commission and maintain compliance.

You will demonstrate the ability to lead a team and develop a culture of creativity and innovation, to deliver outstanding services and are able to work flexibly, be well organised and able to plan effectively.
