Maintenance Team Leader (Electrical or Mechanical)
Our client is a renowned and admired FMCG manufacturing business, enjoying UK dominance and market leading status in their category sector. As a result of sustained business expansion, an opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Team Leader (Electrical or Mechanical) to work a Continental shift pattern of 2 off, 2 days on, 2 off, 2 nights on, 2 off, 3 days on, 2 off, 3 nights based in the Derby Area. Role: To safely prioritise, organise and deliver cost effective maintenance activities to site assets inline with maintenance plan. To actively seek and implement new improvement methods and road map implementation. Responsibilities: Act as senior engineer on shift, leading and shaping and small engineering team, Prioritise Workload on shift Adhere to relevant Health and Safety procedures for engineering department. Diagnose faults and to test , repair and maintain Mechanical / Electrical equipment and machinery. Observe, recognise and report on machinery or component defects or symptoms of impending failure. Interpret and implement technical service instruction data relating to machinery and equipment. Take on any training provided by the company to further enhance the skills. Prioritise and support reactive / breakdown repair through the site SIC process The successful candidates will be a time served Engineer, Experience ideally within in the Food industry (But not essential), Apprenticed trained, ideally HNC or HND in either Mechanical or Electrical) Continental shift pattern of 2 off, 2 days on, 2 off, 2 nights on, 2 off, 3 days on, 2 off, 3 nights Salary: £42k to £44k , depending on experience, plus excellent benefits are on offer.
