The head teacher of this fantastic Walsall 11-18 secondary and sixth form is looking to appoint a highly academic and confident English graduate who has a real passion for the subject and who is looking to train to teach English in the near future. The school prides itself on developing and training recent graduates and supporting them on their journey towards becoming outstanding future teachers. You will be given bespoke training which is well fitted for you specifically. The school has a proven track record within the academy trust of being able to support graduates with their entry in to the teaching profession.

Initially your role will involve being an academic learning mentor, supporting a range of students in small group intervention groups within English. Once your confidence and knowledge grows you will have the opportunity to embark upon the school's train to teach scheme where you will become an unqualified teacher of English with a salary to match, before gaining qualified teacher status, and ideally becoming a newly qualified teacher of English at this wonderful within the next few years.
